Each mandala from the Mandalas to ENJOY painting series is created with a different intention, but their common idea is to share joy and positive energy.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME, just breathe, trust and let it go.

"For Ewa, the catalog from the time of the Academy of Fine Arts (* now: the University of the Arts Poznan), which was to be wiped out, destroyed, because many people at the school did not like it." - a handwritten dedication on the antique catalog given to me as a gift during the opening of the M A N D A L A S exhibition at Młyńska 12 in Poznań, together with these words: "It's good that you do your thing. Because, you know, not those who follow the mainstream make their mark in history..."

Kowalski / author of the above entry; Polish painter; full professor; member of the examination board in the pressence of which I passed the entrance examination at the Academy of Fine Arts; former dean of the faculty where I studied; author of non-standard paintings that go beyond the rigid framework of this field of art.

"I dream of art full of balance, peace, clarity, without disturbing or overwhelming subject matter - about art that would be (...) a means of soothing, soothing the mind, something similar to a comfortable armchair, giving relaxation after physical fatigue. This reflection by Henri Matisse, said over 100 years ago, today comes back to me after seeing the paintings of Ewa Nowacka-Piechowiak. Her works are characterized by plant, animal and geometric motifs with ornamental decorativeness. Rhythm, duplication and color play an important role here and they are conducive to achieving visual unity. "

"It's best when the author tells us about her mandalas herself. About how she works, how those colors and shapes are born in her head, how forms pop out from under the brush - they are as surprising to the viewer as they are to the painter herself. About the fact that each mandala is painted with a specific intention and that these intentions can actually come true. And about the fact that it is always worth looking for your own way, and it is never too late to change. It's best when she shows photos in which she relates her work: the colorful spots on the canvas turn into butterfly wings, hummingbird feathers, sea horses, pineapples... When she reads about the meaning of these symbols and how, with amazement, she discovers their meaning perfectly matching the whole. A consistent cycle is being created, and each of its versions is a big surprise. Ewa's M A N D A L A S have power. Look, can you feel it? I wonder, where else will they lead her?"
